The Jämtlands Gymnasieförbund is responsible for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, and parts of adult education in our member municipalities. The federation's seven schools are located in nature and mountain-adjacent environments spread across five municipalities – Bräcke, Krokom, Ragunda, Åre, and Östersund.

Jämtlands Gymnasium Åre is located in Järpen, the main town of Åre municipality. Our school has students from all over Sweden and the rest of the world, which creates a wonderful mix of people and cultures. Do you have good IT skills and find it easy to understand administrative routines? Do you thrive in a role where you are the hub of daily operations and have many points of contact? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

We want to strengthen our team in Åre with an administrator who wants to contribute to a well-functioning school environment.

The position is a permanent employment at 100%, based in Järpen. The employment is a holiday position starting before the autumn term of 2025.

Your future tasks

Your main tasks span several areas and include payroll management, personnel administration, student administration, handling of boarding allowances, and some financial administration.

The role also includes other administrative tasks that support the school's daily operations. You will work closely with the principal and have a close collaboration with the school's other staff.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with good IT skills who can work independently in programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, and who is used to managing files in cloud-based systems. You have a relevant upper secondary education or other education deemed suitable – preferably supplemented with higher education, which is an advantage.

Previous experience working in personnel and financial systems such as Heroma and Visma is a plus.

You are confident in yourself and have the ability to tackle different types of tasks and questions in an independent and solution-focused manner. We place great importance on your personal qualities, and we are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and service-oriented.

To thrive in the role, you should have a genuine interest in payroll and personnel administration.
